Vancouver Island University is proud to welcome the CCAA to its spectacular 110-acre campus on the slopes of Mount Benson, overlooking Nanaimo, the Salish Sea, and the Coast Mountains. The VIU Gymnasium features a premier court with seating for approximately 1,500 spectators, supported by dedicated team rooms, change rooms, therapy space, and broadcast-ready lighting. The venue will be exclusively available throughout championship week for practices, games, and ceremonies, with added conveniences such as 24-hour laundry service and dedicated spaces for officials. Building on the success of hosting the 2023 CCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship, VIU will once again collaborate with community partners to deliver an exceptional experience, highlighted by center-court opening and closing ceremonies and awards for Players-of-the-Game and the All-Tournament Team. Fans can also look forward to the energy of renowned in-game announcer Matt Carter, a staple of Mariners athletics and a familiar voice across PACWEST and past CCAA championships. |
